I’ve been super busy this week working on a photoshoot for the Aran Sweater Market and getting some looks together for my next blog. I’ve also been busy preparing for a new fashion feature which I will be writing monthly for the Killarney Advertiser which will focus on style and fashion from local boutiques and designers in Killarney and the surrounding area. My very first feature will focus on looks for weddings so I am really excited to share some gorgeous pieces with you all. Although it’s made my week that little bit more manic, I feel very fortunate to be working with great local businesses and I’m grateful for the opportunity it’s given me to meet people that are just as passionate about fashion as I am. I’m excited!
Funnily enough, I find when I am this busy and my brain is on overdrive I crave comfy clothes which is what this outfit is really all about. I’ve always adored Adidas and love how they’ve managed to keep their classic old school style whilst also combining that famous fierce attitude with a fashionable edge. I find that some sports clothes can look a tad ridiculous outside of your local gym (I got some funny looks in the Supermarket the other day wearing my neon pink leopard print leggings) but this range of spring florals is as wearable for a day shopping in town as it is for a jog in the park. This range is a result of an ongoing collaboration with a fashion company called the Farm Company and was inspired by their Brazilian heritage – I don’t know about you but I just can’t wait for more of their dreamy prints.
I’ve paired with my Freddy Jeans from Kerry’s Boutique as they are literally the comfiest jeans I own at the moment and they look just as amazing with casual sports clothes as they do with the more dressier items in my wardrobe. Trusty cons and aviators complete this comfy chic look.
I hope you all have that Friday feeling, I know I do ! Have a great weekend everyone.
