Overview

Killarney Jaunting Cars is a traditional, family-run Irish experience based in Killarney, operated by the 4th and 5th generations of the Tangney family. The business offers jaunting car tours through Killarney National Park, pony-and-trap journeys to the Gap of Dunloe, lake and boat tours, whiskey tastings, and authentic Irish food experiences.

In 2024, the business identified the need to modernise its digital presence by increasing engagement through video content and launching a new customer-focused website.

Challenges

The key challenge was developing the full creative direction for the brand. This included producing brand and promotional videos that captured family heritage, horse care and the overall experience, while also designing a new website with clear, engaging content. All assets needed to feel timeless while supporting ongoing marketing efforts.

Approach

A storytelling-led approach was used, combining brand-focused videos with the Tangney family front and centre and experience-led promotional content using models that represented a diverse cross section of the brand’s target market. The website was designed alongside the content creation process, using strong visuals, clear navigation and concise copy to improve the customer journey.

Results & Conclusion

The project delivered a cohesive set of high-quality brand assets and a refreshed website that clearly showcased the business’s offerings. The updated digital presence strengthened brand storytelling, improved customer engagement, and successfully balanced heritage with modern tourism marketing.
